They thought that class A power amplifier sound is clear, and has high fidelity. But class A power amplifier's low efficiency and the high loss are actually the congenital stubborn illness which it is unable to overcome. Although class B power amplifier's efficiency higher than class A, but the actual efficiency is only about 50%, in the small portable acoustic equipment like automobile power amplifier, the notebook audio frequency system and the specialized ultra high efficiency power amplifier situation, still felt the efficiency somewhat low not to be satisfied . Therefore, because of high efficiency, class D power amplifier become to be used by more and more people.
