The fermentor,major fermentation production equipment of 30,000 tons of monosodium glutamate was one year,was designed and picked out in this paper. The paper calculated the amount of used steam to sterilize the empty fermentor,size of the fermentor, materiels balance, as well as the other joined equipments. In addition,The fermentation equipment plans were also given in the paper.
