【Abstract】 Brain drain, a world-wide phenomenon, has never failed to ignite the scholars controversy since 1960s. With the information explosion and economic globalization, brain drain seems to be more severe. From economic terms, human capital is a vital factor to a country, especially developing countries. If brain drain occurred in a developing country, which already has less human capital, it will be dealt a major blow. China, which is a big country with 1.3 billion populations, is still affected by brain drain. Thus, it is crucial for China to analyze brain drain, especially in the developing progress from labor-intensive manufacturing to technical-intensive manufacturing.
