从《傲慢与偏见》谈婚姻与金钱的关系

             Abstract

Pride and Prejudice is the most famous novel written by the British realistic novelists Jane Austen, We can find that Jane Austen’s idea and the value orientation were described by four couple stories in this book. Although the marriage of four couple is different, but there is one point is the same,that is money played important roles in their marriage, it is unhealthy to get married for money and Social status, it is also wrong to get married for money and Social status,but the money is the substantial guarantee of the marriage,we have to considered the money in real marriage.Austen’s views of the marriage emphasize love and economic condition, but love plays the important role,which is the predominant aspect at Austen’s time.Jane wrote this article aims to that she opposes to get married for money, and also opposes to get married regardless of the consequences,She emphasizes the importance of ideal marriage ,she takes the feelings of between men and women as the cornerstone of the ideal marriage.
