Discussion on the difference between Chinese and Western culture Dragon or Monsters

Abstract

We Chinese like to talk about dragons, and we are more likely to call ourselves descendants of the dragon. But it's not just Chinese that has dragons culture. It has dragon legends all over the world. As a living creature that does not exist in reality, the dragon has a significant difference in the different culture, which is represented by Chinese and western cultures. Even though the communication between Chinese and western cultures is increasing in the modern society, the differences always exist. The author explains this difference by discussing the different dragon culture in the west and the west. In this paper, we will compare the origin of the dragon, the image of the dragon, the legend of the dragon, and the different interpretations of the dragon from the Chinese and western countries.
