On the Translation of English Film Tile from the Perspective of Scopostheory

Abstract

With the development of Chinese economy, more and more English movies are crowding into the Chinese market. The title is an important part of the film, so the film title translation has become an important issue in the translation field. In our country, there are still a lot of imperfections in the film title translation, this paper mainly discusses the translation of English film titles from the perspective of purpose. Through the title of the list of examples, the translation strategies are analyzed, and the purpose is to achieve the purpose of translation, in order to achieve the purpose of translation, the translator can adopt a flexible translation strategy. In addition, this paper summarizes the research conclusions and limitations, and puts forward suggestions for future research.
