Abstract

Hippies created their own counterculture that revolved around free love, peace, drugs and music. The hippie movement was all about discovering new things, exploring new ideas and rebelling against society. Hippie fashion and values had a major effect on culture, influencing popular music, television, film, literature, and the arts. There are a large number of US movies about the Hippie Culutre. This paper will tell four aspects about the hippie culture in American movies.Psychedelic Rock, Drugs, Love&Sex and Travel.
