The Frequency Conversion for Speed Adjustment Control System Based on PROFIBUS Fieldbus Network Abstract: The fieldbus system is the latest industrial automation control system which is characterized with full digital ,distributed and open inter-operation .The PROFIBUS fieldbus is one of the newest and the most popular technology in industrial automation control area. For the network principle and characteristics of this fieldbus, this paper introduced the character of PROFIBUS-DP. The structure of hardware and software for the SIEMENS MM serial inverter which are linked to the network and its application in the fieldbus are analyzed . The TOP architecture of the system ,the establishment of master and slave station and access to GSD document of inverter are describled in detail. The style of PQW and PIW in the fieldbus system and the formation of interface are introduced. Specially ,the access control mode combined token and master-slave are introduced , the priority invocation of master-slave mode,the token-passing process, the establishment of logic ring and the increase or decrease of stations of the ring are describled in detail. The FDL frame structure of PROFIBUS network is given, the communication principle is discussed completely, the application prospect of this technology is describled. With the development of electronic technology and controlling technology, AC frequency conversion for speed adjustment technology is used widely in many fields. The variable frequency device technique is one of the most widely used methods. The technique of PROFIBUS fieldbus add frequency inverter will be applied in many fields. The operation and experiment demonstrates that it’s facility to mount and maintain, reliable to operating and precise to supervise and control.
