This thesis discusses this writing style and analyzes his mysterious Gothic fictions. And the thesis analyzes Allen Poe¡®s Gothic writing style in three parts. First it describes the source of Gothic. The second part analyzes Allen Poe¡®s Gothic fictions from repetition and symbol. In this part, a lot of Poe¡¯s original stories are discussed. The last part describes aestheticism in Poe¡¯s Gothic fictions. No matter what rhetoric or Gothic aestheticism represents in Poe¡¯s stories, they both express his unique writing style. This writing style strengthens the horror atmosphere in his stories, which helps readers understand love in human nature, different senses of beauty and its application.
