Abstract

It has always been a controversial topic in the academic circles to what extent the so-called virtual reality "reality" is. However, it is a fact that the number of people involved in virtual reality, particularly online virtual reality, is increasing. Network users account for one fifth of the world's population, and their use has increased by 265 per cent since 2000. From the occasional email to the present, people's network activities have covered many aspects of daily life. 

The net name is a kind of special language phenomenon, which has the possibility of revealing the language and cultural situation and the development trend, and many linguists pay great attention to this special language phenomenon. The differences of language culture lead to the different language forms of Chinese and western names, and the linguistic forms of Chinese Internet names show diversity and intuitiveness. The language forms of the western Internet names show the singularity and obscurity. There are certain differences in the linguistic features of different linguistic forms. From the perspective of sociology, it is concluded that there is a different social and cultural psychology. The influence of gender factors, age factors, cultural factors, cultural factors and linguistic factors on the naming of Chinese and western Internet names was discussed. After comparison and analysis, found that different countries, different nationalities, different groups and different social levels, different cultural literacy, different language structure will make the net in naming the form of Chinese and western differences, here is the key and the innovation of want to express.
