Abstract

Those festivals not only show the window of their folk active life but also it is the manner of delivering and exploring existing knowledge and existing attitudes. Those festivals give people a chance to have time together with their family and be away from their regular work and to develop kingship and friendship. The folk festival culture is an important part of the Chinese and Western cultures, to a great extent, the cultural origin of all ethnic groups. Comparing the customs and habits of festivals, we can explore directly and comprehensively the history and culture of a nation.

Spring Festival and Christmas are important festivals in China and the West. They all have profound historical and cultural connotations, representing people's expectations and expectations.
