Analysis of the basic characteristics of English language resume

Abstract in English

There is a growing interest in、 the study of business letters in applied linguistics, particularly in bilingual education. However, most of the attention has been }on the generic structures of various resume with the emphasis on how to write a cover letter in the way in which a native English speaker does, few of them have taken the target reader, the job recruiter, into consideration. Furthermore, most corpuses in previous studies are from various sources and few case studies have probed into this specific genre in real business settings.

This paper analyzes aims to study how to use language Chinese staff to achieve communication mesh and the Chinese interviewer like what language is the cover letter. The study on the application letter received, and carry on the language step analysis, found its language and strategy step characteristics, in language step on the basis of analysis, questionnaire, investigation interviewer like what are the language of the cover letter.

The research findings are hoped to oiler some enlightenment to learners and teachers as well as job seekers. It is suggested that people should be aware of the cultural difference and be alert for the preference of the target reader's in real business settings by taking the target speech community into consideration.

对商业信件的研究引起应用语言学家的广泛兴趣，尤其是在双语教学领域。然而，大多数学者的研究目的是引导人们写一封看上去像英美国家人士写的英文简历，鲜有学者调查招聘者对简历的要求。以往的大多数研究语料来源复杂，少有学者对简历进行商业背景下的个案分析。

范文分析旨在研究中国求职者如何利用语步来实现交际目和中国招聘者喜欢具有什么语步的简历。本研究对所收到简历，对其进行语步分析，发现其语步和策略特点，在语步分析的基础上，设计调查问卷，调查招聘者喜欢具有什么语步的简历。本研究对二语写作及求职者都具有实践指导意义，即在进行写作时，必须分析不同言语社区之间的文化差异，了解不同言语社区对同一语篇的不同要求。
