Abstract

In daily communication, context is one of the most important factors that cannot be ignored, especially in translation. The correct understanding of the phrase sentence tends to be done by analyzing context. This paper, analyzed the importance of context in translation from context history, aboard and domestic research status, the influence and how to avoid misunderstanding of context. And from the paper we can get that context can restrict the style, expression and modifying of translation, and contribute to determine the meaning of word, phrase and sentence.
