Literature Review
In recent years, many language teaching staffs at home and abroad devote to enthrone the perfect English teaching mode. Huge of which focus on the traditional English teaching mode, they believe that traditional English teaching mode can lay solid foundations for English learning, and others are high respect the modern teach mode to use multimedia and network to increase the vivid of English Teaching, they advocated the use of modern English teaching method to replace the traditional teaching mode. Only a few are focused on the study to discuss the combination of traditional and modern English teaching mode. And few are referring to the teaching mode in “we media” time. Later, I will discuss the English teaching in traditional mode and the teaching under modern mode. 
When refer to traditional English teaching mode, we know that most of the universities are used in traditional English teaching mode, classroom teaching, and more than 80% of the time in the analysis of words, read the text and grammar; students' homework is to recite the words and do exercises; the mainly exam type is written examination. When we analysis of the value proportion, Vocabulary 20%, reading comprehension 40%; structure: 15%; cloze 10% and composition 15%. Obviously, reading scores the most. There is almost no oral in class and exam. Which induce “teaching English for exam”, just as Wei Lin claimed that “The result is that middle school has learned English for 6 years, the university has studied English for 4 years, still cannot be fluent in English communication, this is the true portrayal of the results of the current English teaching. ” Hu Qingqiu, who is an English teacher now, also express similar view point in the article "The contradiction between English teaching and English Teaching” he said that, “traditional English ignores the practical content”. Even there are so many problems in traditional English teaching mode, the advantage of traditional English teaching mode should not be ignored: the traditional teaching has greater flexibility. Teachers can speak, write, while perform the demonstration, teachers and students can face to face emotional communication, can be communicate with language and with silence. Take the intensive reading class for instance, it is the basic teaching program for vocabulary learning, introduction and explanation of grammar and language points, teachers on the explanation of the text, sentence or sentence text questions or language training, after-school practice instruction. This traditional teaching methods focus on imparting knowledge of the language, its advantage is the basic stage of learning through students' language skills, grammatical concepts clear, thick, strong expression ability and reading. Wang Chunrong stated her comment in 2008 of the “Journal of Hunan First Normal College” and agreed the advantage of the traditional teaching mode.
With the technological development, net resources globalization, the concept of lifelong learning interiorized, e-learning has been applying in English teaching and becomes more and more popular and also changes the traditional English teaching in China. In the western world, the importance of its application in their education has been realized. Richard W. Riley, the former education secretary of the United States pointed out,“ it (e-learning) is not an issue about technology but an issue about whether our children own opportunities” to have better education. Besides long distance education, “we media” such as “we chat”, microblog…etc. you can launch an English teaching. It seems the modern English teaching mode will replace the traditional English teaching mode, but the multimedia English teaching has a lot of advantages also has its shortcomings, such as the relationship between teachers and students for the alienation of man-machine relationship, lack of emotional communication; teaching courseware has a certain fixed closed and cannot be immediately modified, so it lacks the comprehensiveness and flexibility in the process of English teaching. 
In sum, as we know, all the above studies have put forward valuable ideas about the traditional English teaching mode and modern English teaching mode. However, there seems to be a lack of in-depth comparison and practical perspective analysis, which will surely shed more biased discussion. Thus my study may hopefully make some contribution in the mode of English teaching.
