Chinese and English are the most influential languages in the world.More than 460 million people use English as their first language who are distributed over more than 10 countries.Over seventy countries consider English as their official language while about 1 billion people are studying it in the other countries.English plays an significant role in the fields of media, social interaction, entertainment, politics and so on.

Chinese is the most widely used language in the world which are spoken by more than 1.4 billion people all around the world.Except for used in China itself,Chinese is widely used in East Asia and Southeast Asia as well.

Both of the two languages have their own advantages in grammar and pronunciation for which they become the universal language.

Chinese and English have such a powerful influence that they stand out among the many languages in the world, which is inseparable from their own characteristics.

This article is based on linguistic knowledge, groping for differences and connections between Chinese and English from two aspects: grammar and pronunciation. Meanwhile,this article will summarize the characteristics of the two languages and show the influence of these characteristics in cultural communication.

Target of the article: By distinguishing the differences and characteristics between Chinese and English, to explore its impact on cultural transmission, and to dig out the rules of it.
