1.1.Research Background 

Entering twenty-first century,  family education plays the most important part in forming a good habit and intellectual development.There were significant differences in family education between China and the United States, such as on the relationship between family members. Chinese parents play a dominant role in the family. But American parents emphasize more on equality. Most Chinese parents want their children to be ahead of their class, but American parents pay more attention to the child's survival ability.In terms of learning, Chinese parents like to arrange every steps for their children. But American parents are more willing to let children to discover themselves. The result become obvious in adulthood when compared the ability to adapt. To draw lessons from foreign advanced education ,  it is recommended to combine Chinese and western and to promote the healthy growth of children.

1.2.Research Object

Correct understanding of the family education differences between China and the United States and its reason, to find, draw lessons from the United States a more reasonable way of family education, improve the whole education system in China, promote the healthy growth of children, to improve the quality and viability of future talent.

2. Literature Review

Foreign way of education

(1). Education goals

America's mathematical education since the 1950 s, has been a change. The math education in training students' creativity as well as attaches great importance to basic ability and training. Foreign way of primary and middle school mathematics education attaches great importance to the basic knowledge and basic concept of teaching, emphasis on practical problems to solve, the use of technology, pay attention to the teaching of mathematics exchanges, pay attention to mathematical thought method and the improvement of maths.

(2) Education concept

Americans advocate the practice of letting their students experiment with mathematics and learn from the experience. On the contrary, if they exercise control from the beginning, the students may have a negative first exposure to mathematics and since the first impression tends to last long, they will have difficulty correcting their false understanding.

(3) Effect of education

Although American students on international math competition performance not as good as the students in China, but acknowledged that the United States the students' ability of mathematical thinking, mathematics attainment and innovation ability and the ability to solve practical problems, are far above the Chinese students. The education of the United States is a kind of elite education.Domestic way of education.

Education goals

China's mathematics education teaching characteristic and mode, which is under the heritage of Chinese civilization for thousands of years of history gradually formed and developed, have their own growth culture "soil" and "roots". Highlight the knowledge of the specific goals and outline and curriculum for knowledge request different goals, for a detailed operable in the teaching process, and each chapter per day per unit have detailed goals, however, tend to ignore the active big goals;

Education concept

Mathematics education in our country to a great extent, not cast off the yoke of the theory, emphasizes the importance of the concept, requests the student to remember all kinds of transformation form the essence of mathematics knowledge, euphemistically called "plus ca change". In this mode, the students were forced to imitate fixed method, train of thought, lack of initiative enthusiasm of autonomous learning, also can not enjoy the fun of learning mathematics, and the capacity for independent innovation.  

Effect of education

Under the influence of the education targets and education concept, education effect is a student of mathematics in China's very solid basic skills, memory ability is very strong, in all kinds of international mathematics competitions, has repeatedly won awards, mathematical level is quite high, almost more than the same age students in other countries and regions. But, in the solution actual problem, students are often less than others in our country, especially in terms of ability, lagged far behind.

1. The difference between Chinese and U.S. starts with the goal of elementary school.
Chinese emphasize heavily  on intellectual development while U.S. focus on creativity.
2. The attitude toward grading A poor report put a lot of stress on a Chinese student while in U.S. it is a private matter.The “score“ is far less important than “ability”. But most Chinese students in pursuit of high score.
3. The usage of knowledgement  was recognized  differently Chinese education focus on accumulated information and emphasize on inheritance of the knowledge system therefore rarely go against the  authority.American education put more attention on the ability to use the knowledge and encourage the students to challenge the authority. 

Education advice 

This paper tries to analyze the causes of the distinct formation by comparing family education between China and the USA.Through the comparison,it attemps to improve Chinese family education,cultivate creativities of teenagers and understand the characteristics that innovative talents should possess.It also aims to optimize the social education environment,pay more attention on the role of family education,and establish a harmonious relationship between teachers and students based on the guidence of respective values,which will further promote Chinese people to "grow seedings".
