Immediately popular when published over a century and a half ago, Jane Eyre has continued to find appreciative audiences since. Many researchers have studied the novel and author from multiple perspectives.

Teachman, D. wrote Understanding Jane Eyre in 2001. Each section offers valuable ideas for written and oral exploration including role playing, debates, and journal writing assignments.

Beauty and Sadness-A Real Charlotte Bronte edited by Wu Shao-ping (2007). This book introduces her life in a relatively detailed manner. It includes preface: flower in the wild-Charlotte Bronte, unique childhood, studying away from home, struggling to go on as a governess, open the literary world, family members death, dream of a girl, a real mind, remembered people, eternal home-Haworth. Her beauty is because of her talent, wisdom, strong and resistance. Her sadness is that her mother and a younger brother and two younger sisters passed away. She died at thirty-nine years old. She pursued a perfect marriage but only enjoy nine months marriage life. Jane Eyre’s happy ending reflects the sadness of Charlotte’s real life.

Analysis of the love view of Jane Eyre and its formation reasons are discussed from the beginning till now. The love view also is worthy of contemporary learning.

Comparison of the Love View between Jane Eyre and Modern Women published on the Journal of Tianjin Manger College by Xu Yi-ping (2009). Jane Eyre’s life witnessed her consistent pursuit of romantic and perfect love. The experience is also one that seeks for freedom, romantic love, and self-fulfillment as a woman. Love is her life. But modern women need balance affection, friendship and love. Both of them have rights to achieve their happiness.

In 2016, A Brief Analysis About the Love View of the Heroine in Jane Eyre on the Overseas English wrote by Zhang Lei and Zhou Yu-jie. This article analysis love view of Jane Eyre from Jane’s growing environment, self- characters and her attitude in relation to Rochester. Jane Eyre’s parents have gone away when she is a child. She was raised by her aunt who have three children. They dislike Jane and always give some troubles on her. Jane’s childhood time is unfortunate and she must strong enough to fight back for survival. She falls in love when she met Rochester in the Thornfied Hall as a governess. The authors have reached two conclusions. First, Freedom and equality spirit in Jane’s love view is worth pursuing not only her generation but also today’s world. Second, the laws and regulations should be maintained by human being like Jane Eyre gives up Rochester’s love when she found his wife still alive. The happiness life should base on these principles.

A View of Feminists ’Love and Marriage from Jane Eyre on the Journal of Hubei University of Education by LING Hong-bo and LI Mao-ying (2018). This article analyses the attitudes of feminist to love and marriage through Jane Eyre. At the same time，it expounds that females’ love and marriage should be based on the principle that is called “value of life is equal to dignity and love”． Last but not the least，it appeals that female should treat love with self-esteem，independence and equal right．
