Comparing the distinctions between Chinese and western culture of colors---开题报告

  Many have been devoted to the analysis of the color words between chinese and western cultural. First of all,I shall provide some background.

  Before the 19th century, based on the dominant concept anthropology, culture, language is the main theory of the research of color words about cultural determinism.It says any color code system of a language are rooted in the cultural traditions , rarely communicates with other languages.

HongYinli (2001) is a systematic analysis of the modern Chinese color words enantics In the ninety s, the international and domestic research on the basis of English and Chinese basic color words, the domestic emerged a comparative study of English and Chinese color words. This comparative study begins with ShaoZhihong(1994) the comparison of English and Chinese color words to use - from English color words used in the eighty s about questions. So far, the research results will take the form of Journal articles, relative system has not yet been published research monographs

  According to the basic color words of Berlin and cade category theory, combined with domestic scholars YaoXiaoping for the definition of basic color words in Chinese, This paper identified the common English Chinese basic color words mainly includes: white,black, red, yellow, green, blue, purple, gray, brown, orange, a total of 10. Now, in the Chinese journal articles for these basic color words between English and Chinese basic color words comparative studies mainly focused on white, black, red, green,yellow, blue of six major basic color words

  Differences behind the differences in Chinese and English, such as religion  philosophy, political, and cultural differences.Nearly 20 years of domestic and foreign researchers, from the aspects such as cultural linguistics, social linguistics, cognitive linguistics, combining elements of other Related theories, such as cultural determinism, to explore from the perspective of cross-linguistic differences on two kinds of basic color words in the language, and summarize the rule, in the empirical way to challenge the common theory of color words, questions, amend, supplement.
