Research Background 

William Shakespeare, British poet and talented dramatist of the Renaissance is regarded as one of the most outstanding in the 20th century. Ben Jonson commented that Shakespeare is“the soul of the times”.who even makes a great influence nowadays. He is popular among people all over the world for his great devotion to literature. Many of his works such as Romeo and Juliet which is also the first drama I have read of, gained international reputation and popularity. The beautifully written sad love story demonstrates us the understanding of true love cares not the fame ,wealth or even the anguished suffering. Similar to the Chinese legend Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai ,the story frustrated us with the tragic ending but healed us with the romantic love journey and faithful struggling heart. Hamlet, another well-known tragedy of Shakespeare, in the drama, Shakespeare revealed humanity’s selfishness and ugliness in the social background that the material values conquered the spiritual pursuit and people easily lost their direction. The winter’s tale is also one of Shakespeare’s latest work which depicts a tragedy caused by jealousy and fantasies. Finally, the characters in the drama were redeemed for love and family affection. 

Through these three dramas it is not difficult to find the diversity of Shakespeare’s writing style. Different types but all very colorful. Therefore, I hope to explore the changes of Shakespeare’s writing style. Research Object

This paper studies the influence of social environment on Shakespeare’s creation literature writing which in turn can get a deeper understanding of Shakespeare’s writing style。

Also, literary works is naturally a platform where it can encompass variable appreciations and critics, which in turn also enrich its abundance. The infuse of variable opinion or reading shed new light to readers to get full knowledge. In this ‘way , a perspective in reading Shakespeare’ work through the change of his writing style is necessary and significant.

2.Literature Review 

2.1 The humanism in the early works.

Humanism is the main theme of the Renaissance. It tends to care for the individual’s personality and emphasize the preservation of human dignity and advocate a tolerant secular culture and oppose violence and discrimination and advocates freedom, equality and self-worth. During the Great Revolutionary movements, there emerged numerous “giants” and Shakespeare was one of the “giants” who integrated humanistic ideas into his plays from the theme of the drama to characters and details, there are strong thoughts eager for freedom and equality are reflected everywhere in his works. In the drama “as you like it”, Orlando ,one of the protagonists, was forced to the forest because of the abuse and persecution of his elder brother Oliver. In the forest, he encountered his brother Oliver who was in deep danger. At the moment, Orlando choosed to help Oliver get out of danger. Orlando is a representative of truth, goodness and beauty in Shakespeare's pen. At the end of the drama, the change of Oliver from "evil" to "good" reflected Shakespeare’s hope that human kindness and generosity can resolve the evil and human beings can ultimately get harmony.

2.2. Medium writing style 

After the reign of Elizabeth, the British social contradictions intensified, social darkness, wars, and corruption of the central bureaucracy oppressed the bottom people cruelly, a large number of homeless refugees is covered with a layer of fog. During the reign of James I, the aggravation of enclosure movement, this all things undoubtedly run counter to the humanism spirit which emphasize to object violence and discrimination , advocate freedom and equality and self value. In this background, Shakespeare as a humanist who deeply abhor the cruel reality. His works created between 1601 to 1607 were dominated by tragedies. Take the drama King Lear for an example. the sincere, kind and beautiful little daughter Cordelia was banished by King Lear because she said the true thought in her heart. Next, King Lear was abandoned by his elder daughter and the second daughter after he distributed his wealth to them. the little daughter sent troops from France to crusade against her two sister After knowing  King Lear’s experience. She eventually failed and died in prison. The true, good and beautiful Cordelia is the embodiment of the spirit of humanism, which is finally defeated.

2.3. The overseas studies of Shakespeare

There is a saying that a thousand people have a thousand hamlets in their eyes, and a thousand people also have a thousand Shakespeare in their eyes. The study of Shakespeare can be summarized into two camps: the one is the Historicism, which emphasizes the history of Shakespeare's creation and focuses on the connection between his creation and the era of his work, the other is the modernism, which challenges to analyze Shakespeare from the view of historical point, and the prevailing trend, and connects current events to know literature. The two camps study Shakespeare's works from their respective perspectives. 

2.4. The study of Shakespeare in China

It has been more than a century since Shakespeare's name first appeared in China, and his works have been translated into Chinese and sold well in China. The study of Shakespeare in China has gone through four stages: initial development, prosperity, "renaissance and breakthrough" and "in-depth research". Chinese mainly study Shakespeare from the following aspects, translation of Shakespeare’s works , the research of Shakespeare’s works , the theatrical performance of Shakespeare’s drama. There are still many difficulties in Shakespearean research in China and the research methods failed to update. We can see the research nowadays lacks of long-term planning which lead to the obstacles upon the significant breakthrough of the research. and the lack of long-term, fixed and frequent communications between the domestic and overseas researchers also leads to the stagnation.
