1.Introduction

A research paperIn zhang li’ s paper 《The analysis of the characteristics of the style on the foreign trade English correspondence teaching》 introduced style characteristic and industry characteristic analysis of the foreign trade correspondence style and translation skills, foreign trade correspondence should be accurate, concise and consider the  style of  writing techniques.This paper discusses the principle of the business letter writing is important. We can use active sentences at the same time, use less passive sentences, letters to write natural, smooth, less use modifiers. the polite language translation,will make the reader to understand the characteristics of the foreign trade correspondence. we can write better foreign trade correspondence.

1.1What is the foreign trade correspondence?

Foreign trade correspondence is an very important means for establishing business relations .It is widely used in all parts of the foreign trade practice, which include establishing business relations, enquiries, offer and counter-offer, orders & acceptances, sales confirmation & purchase contract, payment , packing, transport and insurance, complaints and claim, etc. Business English writing and international trade play important role in foreign trade correspondence. It need strong ability in comprehension, translation and writing to foreign trade correspondence .Foreign trade correspondence is different from the other ordinary letters. It has its own language, content, manner, formats , as well as it own intercultural communication knowledge.
