 Background and central idea: 

Culture is the sum of material and spiritual wealth created in the process of human social practice. Language is a symbol of culture and culture is the track of language. Language and culture are closely related to the cultural differences between different nationalities and countries are inevitably reflected in the language.

 Under the background of economic globalization, the rapid development of cultural globalization, cross-cultural communication increasingly deepened. The film as a kind of world, and popular art form undoubtedly occupies an important a space for one person in cross-cultural communication. In film translation differences between Chinese and Western culture as the starting point, aesthetic orientation, the thinking of Western cultural studies the difference, the difference of the culture background and its influence on film translation, and has profound significance

Thesis organization and structure: 

Comparative analysis of the effect of differences between Chinese and Western culture influence on translation studies at home and abroad, and illustrates the cultural factors can not be ignored. In recent years the domestic subtitle translation theory research in China started relatively late. The number of monographs and film subtitle translation is relatively few. In recent years, more and more young people began to pay attention to the research and understanding.

For example, Yang Yang wrote a review of < Subtitle Translation > .He told us when we translated , we should focus on art language also reflects the differences between Chinese and Western aesthetics.the aesthetics of the translation has brought some obstacles. He put forward according to the different types of text, mainly audience oriented, understand each other 's culture,and adopt different strategies for translation. To achieve the communication between different cultures and prosperity.

Li Chume wrote the《Analysis of the differences between Chinese and Western cultures in film translation》.It told us that in the process of English film translation, we must understand the differences between Chinese and Western cultures, and from the perspective of cultural differences between Chinese and western, translated into popular language acceptable to the Chinese audience.Only when we fully understand the cultural differences between China and Western countries, we can enhance the translator's cultural background in China and the West.

In order to systematically analyze the cultural differences between China and Western countries, and enhance people's attention to the cultural differences in the process of translation ,improving language proficiency and sensitivity to cultural differences can help people to improve understand the cultural barriers in Translation .

This article will be divided into five parts to introduce:The first part is a comprehensive introduction to this study.The second part is the analysis of Chinese and Western Cultural Aesthetics with some examples.The third part is the analysis of Thinking Difference with some examples.In the fourth part is the analysis of Social customs are different and Different lifestyles with some examples.

The final section summarizes the findings and gets inspiration.
