Abstract

 The traditional concept of human beings holds that culture is a social phenomenon, a product of long-term human creation, and a historical phenomenon, which is the accumulation of human society and history. In today's society, cultural productivity has become the main component of comprehensive national strength. Culture is determined by certain economy and politics, and reacts on economy and politics, giving great influence to politics and economy. There are many differences between Chinese and Western cultures. It is very necessary to know the differences between Chinese and Western cultures. Through comparative analysis of culture, we can learn from each other's strengths and promote our cultural development. By comparing Chinese and Western cultures, this paper finds out the differences between Chinese and Western cultures, including the differences in thinking patterns, moral concepts, values, social relations, religious beliefs and social customs, and analyzes the causes.
