1 Introduction

With the development of economic globalization, the integration and penetration of languages and cultures among countries is also accelerating. Translation plays an increasingly important role in cross-cultural communication between countries. In fact, translation is based on the meaning transformation between contexts, especially between cultural contexts. Cultural context mainly includes the differences in thinking mode, religious belief, values, geographical culture, humanistic history and culture, etc. These factors have an understanding and grasp of the meaning of the text and affect the transmission of meaning. Alienation and domestication translation are two cultural context can be effectively used to transport significance of translation strategies. This article from the perspective of cross-cultural intersection to examine the influence of culture in the field, discusses the cultural context in the enlightenment and significance in translation practice and the difference of cultural context has taken a different translation strategies.

Research Background

With modern communication, social linguistics, applied linguistics, anthropology, culture, development of new disciplines, such as pragmatics, especially the rise of cross-cultural communication, translation studies emerged from the micro linguistic structure contrast research to the macro language and culture background, from a single direction, single subject evolution in the direction of multi-level and multi-angle and interdisciplinary. Zaixi Tan also believes that "the understanding of the original meaning in translation is far from a simple problem of language understanding. Language is an integral part of culture, which is influenced and restricted by culture. Zuoliang Wang said, "A translator must be a real cultural person. No one can really master a language without understanding the social culture in the language." All these show that translation, as a tool of language communication and information dissemination, has a close relationship with culture, and translation itself is actually a process of cross-cultural dialogue. Therefore, the study of translation should break away from the constraints of language and take a broad cross-cultural perspective. Due to the people of different cultures in the habits and customs, social norms, and ways of thinking are differences in the value orientation, this request is engaged in the cross-cultural communication of the translator must understand the domestic and foreign national cultural differences and master the different culture embodied in the cultural context of discourse, correctly understanding the cultural semantics, the words contained in the appropriate translation methods, make foreign culture in the target language.

In short, translation reflects culture, and there are problems in understanding and expressing cultural connotation in translation. The biggest difficulty encountered by translators in the translation process is not language, but culture. As Eugene nida, a famous American translation theorist, put it, "the most serious errors in translation are often caused not by the improper expression of words, but by the wrong cultural assumptions".
