1.1 Definition:
1.2 Features [2]
1.2.1. Students should be equipped with some foundations of languages;
1.2.2. Teaching contents should be selected from daily life and could be characterized by system and coherence;
1.2.3. Communication in process of teaching, namely the process of teaching itself could be considered as one kind of communication;
1.2.4. Students’ subjectivity, namely the teaching should focus on students, the teaching goal should cultivate student’s abilities of learning foreign languages and learning motivation;

2. Chinese undergraduate student’s features of English learning
2.1 Certain language foundation
2.2 Convenient learning environment[3]
2.3. Interest and sense of achievement easily arouse learning motivation
2.4. Stronger subjective consciousness in student’s learning[4]
2.5. Equal relations between students and teachers

3. Application of communicative approach in English teaching of Chinese college
3.1. Necessity for application of communicative approach in English teaching of Chinese college
3.2. Feature for application of communicative approach in English teaching of Chinese college
3.3.Practical approaches for application of communicative approach in English teaching of Chinese college
3.3.1 Contextual situation is set to cultivate great learning atmosphere
3.3.2. Problematic situation is set to arouse student’s exploration towards new teaching contents[5]
3.3.3. Establishment of equal relations between teachers and students
3.3.4. Diversified teaching approaches could arouse student’s learning interests

4. Important causes of communicative approaches in English teaching of Chinese college
4.1. Communicative teaching values interactions in the class much more, which could coincide with student’s cognition towards language learning
4.2. Communicative teaching emphasizes the learning pattern that focuses on students with teacher’s guidance so as to easily arouse student’s learning interests
4.3. Teaching contents and pattern of communicative approach is very flexible and easy to achieve teaching goals

5 .Conclusion
Communicative approach emphasizes that the language should be treated as tool of communication, the teaching activities could be able to set different contexts and teaching approaches. This teaching approach could be suitable for student’s features of learning English on the one hand and improve student’s awareness of active learning and learning interests greatly on the other hand so that the learning could play the leading role in teaching activities, with development of modern teaching skills and extensive application of English in the society, this teaching approach could be more close to social culture, in conclusion, the communicative approach plays an important role in English teaching.
