The difference of marriage concept is mostly caused by the different situation in China. The traditional Chinese culture is deeply influenced by Confucianism, and the three cardinal principles and five principles and the idea of Chinese Rites also restrict people's emotion to a certain extent. The feudal thought restricts the communication between young men and women. The Chinese people highly respect the orders of their parents and matchmakers in marriage. At the same time, women abide by the rule of "no two doors, no step", which greatly limits men and women Freedom of communication. On the contrary, the western countries have always had a tradition of respecting women, which stems from the western people's belief in Christianity and the knight literature in the middle ages of the west, which established the higher social status of the Western women. The Western women can receive good education and have relatively independent personality.

This paper discusses the differences of marriage views between China and the West caused by traditional thoughts, the differences of marriage views presented by different female societies in China and the west, and the common points of love and Marriage Views between China and the west, trying to interpret the differences between Chinese and Western views of love and marriage from different literary works of China and the west, so as to better understand the reasons for the differences between Chinese and Western Marriage Views.
