A. Research Object
This article mainly discusses the translation of the introductory texts of Huangshan tourist attractions, combined with the suggestions and discussion methods proposed by the official introduction of international tourist attractions, in order to improve the international popularity of the scenic spots and shape and enhance the overall image of Huangshan tourist attractions. Since the reform and opening up in the 1980s, China ’s diplomatic exchanges have become more frequent, and English has become a powerful language for the American superpowers. More international friends communicate through English to achieve the purpose of dialogue. In theory, as long as there are language barriers between people, to carry out normal language-mediated communication activities, you must resort to translation. The tourism translation is a translation for tourism activities, tourism professions and industries, which belongs to professional translation. China has long history and splendid culture are attracting more and more foreigners to travel to China, Therefore, tourism translation is the basis for foreigners to understand Chinese tourist attractions. The translation of scenic spots should not only be the conversion between languages. The introductory text translation of scenic spots is a cultural carrier, and it should be a cultural interpretation. The translation of scenic spots should conform to the trend of cross-cultural communication and cosmopolitan integration, from the comparison and conversion of simple language forms to the height of cultural analysis and contrast, reveal the deep meaning contained in language forms and cultural metaphors, and truly make translation activities into Cross-cultural communication to promote the development of tourism. As everyone knows, tourism is a sunrise industry. As one of the important industries for the country's development, it represents the future development trend and can evolve into a leading industry or even a pillar industry under certain conditions. Claude Baumgarten said that China is now the world's second largest tourism market after the United States, and plays an important role in the global tourism industry. According to the ‘Statistical Bulletin of Huangshan City's National Economic and Social Development in 2019’ published by "Huangshan Daily" shows that Huangshan City received 74.021 million domestic and overseas tourists throughout 2019, an increase of 14.1% over the previous year. Various reports show that China's tourism industry is in a period of vigorous development. China's tourism resources are rich and there are many tourist attractions. However, there are still many problems in the introductory materials for foreign tourism. Take Huangshan as an example. Huangshan is rich in native plant resources and wild animal resources, as well as abundant water resources. More importantly, Huangshan integrates various cultural consciousnesses and behaviors in various historical periods and social classes into a specific form with a broad feeling. Huangshan culture. Through the translation of the introductory text of the attractions, we hope that foreign tourists will come to Huangshan, China, not just to see a mountain and a stone. What we need to transmit is Huangshan Culture. Excerpts from the Huangshan Tourism Official Website's introduction to the attractions of Huangshan: ‘The Huangshan Scenic Area covers a planned area of 160.6 square kilometers.In accordance with the police of “scientific” planning,unified management,strict protection sustainable use”.Mt Huangshan has created a variety of management modes ,including the rotation system of scenic spots.” In the translation of official tourist information, the style is simple, the writing is concise, the expression is intuitive and easy to understand. However, for tourists, such an introduction is too monotonous and has no connotation. It is not easy to memorize and cannot deepen the impression. This is exactly the problem to be studied and discussed in this article. It is recommended that when introducing attractions, the natural scenery, historical background and legends of Huangshan should be run through it. In the introduction of the attractions as vivid as possible, the text introduction of the attractions will be excellent.
