1. Chinese idioms originated from the Chinese nation, the distinctive culture of famous culture, the essence of Chinese language is also the crystallization of wisdom. It carries the background of different cultures in China, vivid image of the expression of some specific meaning of the words, people profound impact. The use of words is also easy to make people easier to remember. In the process of translating Chinese idioms into English, it is not just a simple conversion between two languages, but a true meaning of the intrinsic meaning of the idiom. We want to pass this culture profoundly to foreign readers, let them understand the language of our Chinese nation and pass on our thinking.2. The translation of idioms is more complicated than the translation of general sentences, and can not be a single word translated combination, it is not all the arrangement of a single word combination. But to combine the then language environment, the original fixed structure and unified semantics. In the translation of the idiom, still have to retain the idiom itself metaphor and other rhetorical effects and the colorful culture of the Chinese nation; also should respect the original, do not tamper with the original intention.3.
