Language as an important communication tool, is not independent existence, it not only is a kind of universal phenomenon, human society and culture as a whole. Language and culture rely on each other and influence each other. Language is the important carrier of culture, culture of language. So as well as in language teaching, should lose no time underground of the countries where a large number of introducing language cultural background, social customs, etc. Among nations so that both can enhance the understanding, communication and exchanges. Can effectively promote language to master and apply again.

It is common in China that English teaching has been putting emphasis on grammar teaching instead of culture， which is， however， not adapted to the current needs of English teaching with the increasingly development of economic and cultural exchanges among China and other countries. In this article， focus will be on the significant role of culture in English teaching and followed by some possible solutions.
