English teaching is an important education activities, can not be ignored in the position in school education. Information about junior middle school English teaching research are many, both of the books published, dissertation, or journal data, which are written in the teaching of the reality.
Foreign language information in the information on the subject of this thesis study although it is very practical, has the reference value, can provide reference to Chinese middle school English teacher, but, after all, there are cultural differences, we don't have that kind of language environment, learning can be difficult. Therefore, this paper is more accessible to our country's some information, so that is more close to the practice of middle school teaching, but also more convenient to study.
A lot of research materials about English literacy, teachers have written English professional, more is to write English literacy of students. Research papers of English literacy, focus on students' reading literacy, which also have English listening, speaking, reading,writing,these aspects of the comprehensive qualities of information. On the basis of the existing research, analysis, can be found about the papers of English literacy education basic is like this. For example,Gu Xiao published in journal of campus English in the junior middle school English teaching to improve students' English literacy "exploring, the paper simply explains the two aspects. Designed according to the teaching content of English literacy education content and guide them to improve the cultural quality in practice, these two methods have certain feasibility,  but still lack of pertinence, generally will not produce huge effect.
Becky of Shandong Normal University in 2013, master's graduation thesis is the training of the junior middle school students English literacy, the innovation of the paper is to use its own teaching experiment, points out that the cultivation of reading ability, students should pay attention to the text teaching, pays special attention to the intensive reading, also should pay attention to reading as a whole. Teachers often give students added English cultural background, to read the groundwork for the students. Mainly with the theory of class designed to complement, make the paper overall is full. But such a bit trying, will not be able to highlight a specific related contents of English ability, there would be no great practical significance.
Reading teaching is a core content of this research. Some papers have English reading literacy of words in the title, content is also talk about how to treat the students' reading literacy. In the first national primary and middle school English reading teaching academic symposium speech mainly talked about the issues of cultivating primary and middle school students' reading literacy. Speech mentioned the importance of English reading materials, this method can produce positive significance to the students' reading literacy. This also is equivalent to our grade materials, layers of in-depth study, step by step and improve ability.And Liu Xiaobo published in the journal of Chinese Teachers "based on training high school English reading teaching of reading literacy", mentioned reading literacy including reading consciousness and reading ability, from concept to practice the analysis of the fair and reasonable, the most important is to promote reading ability. The views and ideas worth reference.Learning English, the first to have the right idea as the guidance, to learn to read the article thoroughly. Reading ability can not improve soon, need to be trained, through long time practice, cultivation of language sense, summarize reading skills in actual practice, formed its own unique method of reading.
On the basis of existing research results, this thesis will avoid generalizations of reading literacy, not on the students' English literacy, but rather on the reading ability of students to this system, this paper reference, in order to provide the teaching of middle school teachers to give students some learning strategies, truly improve teachers' and students' English reading literacy.
