1.2 AbroadIn the early 1990s, the American scholar Francis Fukuyama threw the theory of “End of History”, and he thought that the end of the Cold War was the ultimate victory of the Western cultural values, and the history would end here, even thought that the Western cultural values would become the values which was commonly applied by human. Then, Samuel Huntington’ s “Clash of Civilizations Theory” has caused repercussions all over the world, he thought that the differences in civilization was the most fundamental difference, and this difference was not changed, and was not eliminated. The Dutch scholar Geert Hofsted is an important figure in the field of cross-cultural studies and cross-cultural organization, his most famous theory is the “five dimensions of culture theory”, which uses the professional investigation methods, a large number of theoretical research and practical experience, measures various cultures in the world according to five dimensions. First of all, about the Power Distance Index (PDI), refers to the level of unequal distribution of power that the vulnerable groups in the organization accepted and expected. The second, about the Individualism (IDV): it shows the degree of individuals integrated into groups within the organization; the third, about the Masculinity (MAS): which is defined for male and female roles’ different distribution when solving the problems. The fourth, about the Uncertainty Avoidance Index (UAI), it shows a social tolerance for uncertainty and ambiguity of things; the fifth, about the Long-Term Orientation (LTO), it corresponds to values of saving and perseverance. Of course, entrepreneurs will adopt different strategies depending on cultural dimensions in the use of commercial applications. In the 21st century, the root causes of conflict will no longer primarily ideological or economic factors, but civilizations or the cultural differences, the clash of civilizations will dominate global politics. These two theories caused a huge reaction in the international community, governments and academics increased the intensity to the study of international cultural relations, formed the four main claims: one was the cultural hegemony of Western countries; the second was the cultural nationalism; the third was the idea of cultural globalization; the fourth argument was that cultural development should maintain its diversity, the culture of diverse coexistence was the ultimate development direction of human culture.
