    Jane Eyre is an excellent autobiographical works.it is one of the representative works of Bront Charlotte, had a wider impact on the British society at that time.

"Jane Eyre" in the embodiment of women's independent consciousness is caused by the time and future generations of people's attention.and different scholars have their own views on the women’s dependent consciousness in “Jane Eyre”.

   《Jane Eyre》reveals the wake of the gender conscious and the social position of women in Victorian period through the analysis of the heroine from the feminist perspective. The status of women in the Victorian period has improved by the development of female consciousness, but still affected by social class and social status.

    Through the twists and turns of love story between Jane Eyre and Rochester, a woman who does not yielding in social pressure, independent, active and progressive.

This female image has impact on the concept of women in the male centered society. It has been shown earlier that the awakening of female consciousness and the struggle of awakening women have an important position in the history of literature.The feminist heroine revealed the light deeply attracted me, which led to the completion of this topic.I hope that the research results of this thesis can help to understand the Western feminist consciousness, and thus can be better used for the Chinese feminist
