(一)domestic research situation
Along with the progress of the Times, the English is more and more popular. And English presents is polarizing in the primary school life. There are many differences in the students' interest in learning. Some students are interested in learning,they will be more and more good, but for others aren’t interested in English even are bored in English. English is the "obstacle" along the road for them. Therefore, students must learn the fun of learning English in primary school , so as to improve their ability to speak English and speak English bravely.In the eyes of pupils, games are their favorite things, so integrating games into the classroom is also the key to improve their interest in learning.
Game, is now widely used in Englisheaching, game teaching method is also a form of situational teaching method, is based on a scientific theory, to strengthen the text teaching, be familiar with the new words and exercises the language practice ability of students, develop students' potential and intelligence. It according to the actual teaching content, according to certain procedures and rules, progressive English activities.
A class is good or bad is not depends on the teacher can speak many words, students can listen to how many words, but action, pupil like looking for the fun, if let them so neat bunch sat on a seat 40 minutes it is almost impossible, psychological research shows that the elementary student's attention stability is poorer.The best can only stay for 30 minutes, and long-term voluntary attention is easy to make people feel boring, and also won't have a high level of investment, so sometimes need interaction between teachers and students, teachers should guide the children to give full play to their subjectivity, students are the leaders of the whole class.
That requires teachers to design reasonable and effective games to attract students' attention. .In order to make the game run smoothly, the students also had to use the word and sentence to participate in the game, professor in the gradually deepening the students' memory, the student main body of feeling warm investment, thinking actively participate in actively, all of these meet the development of the students in all aspects.

English curriculum standard" pointed out that the purpose of English curriculum during the stage of elementary education is: through lively classroom teaching activities, cultivate and stimulate students' interest in learning English, to gradually develop the confidence to learn English well. Pupils are active, they love saying, love to imitate, in accordance with the above characteristics, applying games in English teaching in primary school. It can greatly stimulate students' interest in learning. Interest is the key to learning a language. German educator at Ferro Bayle said: "the game is the characteristic of children's activities, through the game, children's inner activities and inner life toward independence, autonomy, external performance, thereby gaining happiness, freedom and satisfaction, and keep the balance of the inner and outer. Children's games are often accompanied by language expressing, which is conducive to the development of children's language. Therefore, the application of games in English classroom plays an important role in students' English learning.

二、Outline
1. The role of games in English teaching.

1.2. The game can make the content of teaching difficult to be easy, change abstract into concrete, break through the teaching difficulty.
1.3 Games can develop students' intelligence, develop students' listening and speaking ability, and arouse students' enthusiasm for learning English.
