1. Language Study 
During the first four decades of the 20th century, language was viewed by American linguists and anthropologists regard culture as being more important than it actually is in shaping our perception of reality.  
Language is more than just a means of communication. It influences our culture and even our thought processes. Edward Sapir and his student Benjamin Whorf believe language predetermines what we see in the world around us. In other words, languages predetermines culture.
2. Culture Research
Culture is, in the words of E.B. Tylor, "that complex whole which includes knowledge, belief, art, morals, law, custom and any other capabilities and habits acquired by man as a member of society. All Taloy’s defines are huge notions (knowledge, belief, etc), we may safely say that almost everything you face every day concerns with culture. Actually, we always classify a people come from a specific country and speaking specific language”. 
3. Culture Difference
Some examples of cultural differences include;
-Clothing - Many cultures can be identified by their clothing. For example, Sikh men who wear turbans.
-Food - Some cultures are not allowed to eat pork. Most cultures have traditional dishes. For example, in the UK they eat a Sunday roast and Full English Breakfast.
-Language - Different countries tend to have their own language and methods of communication. However, there are also sub cultural differences, such as regional accents or sign language.
-Rules/ Laws - Cultures can often be recognised by the regulations they have to live by. However, lesser known rules can prove problematic. For example, tourists unaware of local custom may be arrested for inappropriate behavior. 
Cultural differences are important to identity and to provide us with a sense of belonging. A person's culture is often very important to them and will have usually been a part of them since birth.
4. Oral English Teaching in China 
After the Cultural Revolution, English education was emphasised again. It was listed as one of the three basic subjects in middle schools. 
The grammar translation method emphasises written language, ignoring oral language. although most students are good at the knowledge of gramma, can read some English articles, even can write some simple articales in English, they can not make any communication in life except for only getting good marks in examinations. Many 

factors have led to the current dumb English phenomenon. To solve this problem, teachers should take effective teaching methods to help students develop interest in oral English, to get rid of psychological barriers and to establish silfconfidence; furthermore, teachers should pay more attention to outside class practice so as to improve studenta'oral English. This paper makes a study on effective English teaching methods to solve the problems in oral English teaching.

4.1 Let students recognize the importance of learning oral English 
4.2 Introduce interesting materials to students 
4.3 Encourage students to use English to communicate 
4.4 Initiate topics for students to discuss 
4.5 Setup followup charts to know progress of students 
4.6 Create occasions to let students to have a visual aid method to help students to understand culture
