（一）The importance of language in the process of human history evolution

The earliest human evolution began from 2.5 million years ago in East Africa. About two million years ago, some of these ancient humans left their homes and traveled throughout North Africa, Europe and Asia. Because of the various geographical environments, the humans began to evolve in different ways and appeared several different races, such as Homo sapiens, Neanderthals, Dennysuo people, Thoreau etc..

How come Homo Sapiens become the last race among many different races？ Scientists think that the most likely answer is that Homo sapiens can dominate the world just because of their language abilities. About 70,000 years ago, Homo sapiens developed language skills which only have some limited sounds, however, the combination of all sounds can make unlimited sentences that all have different meanings, so that humans can absorb, store, and exchange information, and understand the surrounding world, which led to the expansion of the tribe. Homo sapiens also developed a more compact and complex forms of cooperation, which eliminated other races.

（二）The importance of linguistics in the history of modern colonialism in Europe

In the 15th and 16th centuries, the European expedition established the bases and colonies around the world. The expedition of the  European Empire has changed the history of the world: originally, some independent ethnic groups and cultures developed in their own way; and now it became a single human social process.

Because of the need of colonization, the subject of linguistics was supported by the empire. The European Empire believed that it was necessary to understand the language and culture of those colonized people so that the ruling could be more effective. The research of many linguists showed that the European empire had a much better understanding of each colonized compared to the local residents.

For example, India, with the population of three hundred million, was ruled by the Britain who used five thousand officials, thousands of soldiers and hundreds of thousands of businessmen and other servants for over two centuries.

The development of Pidgin English has its historical inevitability. For more than two thousand years, China has always been the kingdom of heaven in the country and dominate the country by the name of “Divine right of kings”. With the improvement of Feudalistic Autocracy, people’s mind get stiff. However, the invader spread some democratic, free and equal ideas; as Mr. Sun Yat-sen, the father of the world, said: the world trend, from the divine power to the monarchical power, from the monarchy to the civil rights; now to the civil rights, there is no way to resist. The popularity of Pidgin English strengthens the communication between the local people and the Western and breaks the original dull and rigid mind, we called "breaking and building", which has laid the necessary mass base for the later social system reform.
