一、Literature review(文献综述)

Translation is not only bridge of communication between languages, but also the communication between cultures, which is the basic nature of translation. 

Translation and culture have always been inextricably linked. On the one hand, the result of translation enriches national culture, and to some extent reflects the change and development of culture. On the other hand, culture can not only promote translation activities, but also influence or even restrict them to some extent. The interaction never stops. The function of translation is to achieve communication between cultures. However, due to differences in national history, social system, life style and geographical environment, different nationalities have different national cultures. These differences undoubtedly cause great difficulties to translation, and how to overcome these difficulties becomes an urgent problem to be solved in the translation process.

In addition, language translation errors are culturally unacceptable or for cultural reasons, more serious than barriers and errors caused by inappropriate words or sentences. In order to prevent the occurrence of this phenomenon, we should take measures from the following aspects: firstly, as China is concerned, language research and analysis should be studied from multiple aspects of their development and evolution, so that we can have a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the similarities and differences in language and culture, so as to achieve one smooth cross-cultural communication language. Secondly, it is necessary to have more contact with western culture and learn more about western culture through literary works, films and TV works, so as to create conditions and create an English learning environment and atmosphere. In order to properly handle cultural differences in translation, we should not only have the ability to understand and understand the two cultures, but also have the ability to actually use the two languages. In addition, we should constantly improve our cultural accomplishment and strive to combine ourselves with the original author's ideal, emotion and artistic conception. As a bridge of cultural communication, we should adopt flexible translation strategies according to different situations, overcome the cultural differences between China and the west caused by obstacles, respect the cultures of other countries and our own culture, make the translation as expressive and expressive as possible, so as to achieve the purpose of cross-cultural communication.
