Learning a language, especially a second language other than one's mother tongue, is inseparable from the learning and understanding of the culture conveyed by this language. Since the 1960s, some scholars have been studying the learning mechanism of people's language ability, especially the learning mechanism of foreign language ability. Second language acquisition (SLA) is a new discipline integrating linguistics, neurolinguistics, language education and sociology. Up to now, the multi-angle and multi-method research mode of the second language has led to an endless stream of second language acquisition theories.

Domestic research status
In his report to the 19th National Congress of the COMMUNIST Party of China (CPC), General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that the world today is in a period of great development, transformation and adjustment, but peace and development remain the theme of The Times. Research status abroad
SLA (Second Language Acquisition) created by Krashen is the most 
influential linguistic theory in the world today. Although many of his theories. are still controversial, they are widely recognized as advanced, rational, scientific and revolutionary. Many advanced linguistic achievements are developed on the basis of his theory. The understanding of his linguistic theory will enable us to arm our minds with science and play a very important role in guiding the practice of language mastery. Krashen believes that, in a nutshell, the mastery of language, no matter the first language or the second language, is achieved under the "understandable" real speech (that is, effective sound, that is, the foreign language that can understand the meaning). They are accepted in a relaxed and non-objectionable condition; It does not require "conscious" learning, training, and use of grammar; It doesn't happen overnight, it starts slowly, and the ability to speak comes later than the ability to listen. So the best approach is to design for the features of the above language implementations. His theory consists of the following five pillars, which he calls "hypotheses."
Stephen D Krashen is a professor emeritus at the School of Education at the University of Southern California. He is best known for his work on establishing the universal theory of second language learning and for his work as an advocate of the nature approach. Since the 1970s, Professor Krashen has focused on the study of second language acquisition, and published two major monographs in the early 1980s: Second Language Acquisition Second Language Learning (1981) and Principles and Practice in Second Language Acquisition (1982). He also published The Natural Approach with T. Terrell in 1982. In these three books, Professor Krashen systematically expounded his theory of language acquisition by analyzing the process of second language acquisition.
