Research progress at domestic and abroad:

   In the process of English Chinese translation, we should give priority to literal translation or free translation, so there is still no consensus on the translation circles. But the researchers at home and abroad will be a little recognition, that is, whether it is literal or free translation, as long as the text can convey the original author's creation motive, and the smooth, precise, easy to understand, most of the target readers can accept, that is a successful translation.

   In 1979, Wang Zuoliang said in the text of "meaning, style, translation": according to the different circumstances of the original language, to decide the literal translation of the literal translation, the free translation of the free translation. A good translator to master the overall and local details, both faithful to the original meaning, but also allows readers to easily understand and accept. A good translation is both literal translation and free translation.
