Based on Virginia Woolf's literary creation thought and aesthetic point of view, this paper analyzes from the two aspects of structure image and character image, and thinks that Woolf tries to use her unique creative technique-stream of consciousness and symbolism. Through the complex transformation of characters' inner monologue and other techniques of stream of consciousness expression, people feel the full thought of stream of consciousness novels. Almost all character events and scenes have a strong symbolic color and form. Many critics analyze and evaluate it from different angles. Based on other literature, the author only makes his own simple analysis.
