The aim of FLE (Foreign Language Education) is to train the students’ ability of reading and using language. When reading, the leaner can get some information from the article .Also, it’s a way to exchange the minds between the leaner and writer. Reading is a comprehensive ability, it is closely related to the quality of the students’ thinking, intelligence, learning strategies, reading skills, and so on. Reading is not only helpful for students’ English learning , but also has a positive impact on their attitude towards learning. It can improve reading skills, develop reading ability, improve the students’ personality, improve academic performance. Moreover, with in-depth reading, the more times that the words, phrases, sentences reappear, the faster students can read. English reading plays a significant role to the improvement of language ability in students’ listening, writing, vocabulary memories and other aspects. Therefore, reading is quite important for students, the teacher should use different ending approaches and various means to teach reading based on the barries that existed in reading comprehension.

After reading many famous books and articles about the Foreign Language Education, we can learn a lot of methods to deal with the new words when students reading. But it needs more good methods, and it’s worth to study and analysis of that. Through the analysis of the situation that the students encounter the new words, we could know that limited vocabulary is the major factor that affect reading comprehension. Therefore, it is the most effective way to make the students to master the methods and techniques to deal with the new words during the process of teaching reading comprehension.

Meanwhile, the study of the methods of dealing with the new words in reading comprehension is also deepened my understanding of the meaning of reading comprehension and the understanding of the methods and skills in reading. Only to improve your reading comprehension skills to deal with new words is not enough, but it is very difficult to improve the reading ability if the middle school student haven’t grasp the skills to deal with the new words. Therefore, the course that about how to deal with the new words in middle school English reading comprehension is of great significance. In fact,the methods and techniques on how to deal with the new words in middle school English reading comprehension are far more than the contents mentioned in the paper, there are much more other content that need to be studied.
