1.Literature Review
With the continual innovation and development of English teaching, Educationist pay more and more attention to the function of body language in English teaching. 
There are lots of works in the researches of body language, An America psychologist Fonbort’s research result named “Posture Effect” indicates that of all information we have received, 7% from written texts, 38% from speaking, and 55% from body language. So we can learn that the body language is a main component of communication. Nobody can communicate with each other just through verbal languages. Yu Xiaohua once said in his work: Body Language is an information system that expresses meaning by non-language actions and physical gestures. It includes those non-speaking actions made by our body. For example, our expressions in eyes, on faces, all kinds of gestures, shaking and nodding, etc.
 Linguist Richards pointed out in his works --- Body language is the main form of non-language communication, and it means people can use the facial expressions and body movements to communicate meaning from one person to another.” Thus it can be seen that how important the body language is. All the facial expressions and gestures that people express are the most direct and effective way of exchanging information. It is also true in English teaching of primary school . The specialist on body language research, Fen. Lafle.Angles, even once said: Once the body language was lost, a baby couldn’t have grown into a normal person”. That is absolutely right, For baby, they don’t know the word’s mean, but they have the original ability to learn and imitate the adults’ body language. Teacher should take full advantage of the students’ original ability to learn new things by body language, put it this way, we can obtain a better teaching effect than before.  
As an old saying: “Interest is the best teacher.” Specialist Cooper once said: The students can absorb better if they study at their own will. Linguist Jeremy Harmer clarified that very clearly in his work: How to be a good teacher?  What makes a good teacher?  A good teacher is an Entertainer who can amuse students and make their lesson interesting. In order to arouse the students’ interest. The teachers should use body language more frequently. Body language is an efficient way to stimulate students’ study interest. Imaging that a teacher use the proper, vivid, dramatic and even exaggerated movements to teach English, the knowledge must be deeply engraved on the students’ mind.
     Anli Zhu stated in her thesis: In the classes, if teacher use body language  properly, the students’ attention can be attracted and the teaching quality can be improved. Xie Shuhua even said in his work: words are inadequate, body language is used especially to express feelings, and it helps to improve English listening, speaking, reading, and writing.     
   Body language can create an active class atmosphere through many ways and arouse the students’ studying interest very easily. Especially for the primary learner of English, Hu chundiao pointed out in his paper: Students use all gesture that not only train students using their hands but also accelerate with their cerebra development and noetic exertion. So it is significant to pupils use body language in English learning. because of pupils’ limitation of vocabulary and sentences, they often can’t completely communicate with teacher in English, additionally, totally using Chinese will disturb the English circumstance. At this time, body language will play a important role to make them communicate fluently. An excellent English teacher should make full use of it and combine it with the verbal language to optimize the teaching efficiency.
