Language can not be used without human beings, and that human beings never part from some certain social cultural. So it is not comprehensive to research the language just as a self-sufficient and close symbol system, we must connect the language with social culture macroscopic ally during researching. First, language is a part of culture. Actually, language is only used when human beings get started to produce, especially in the process of producing.None but spiritual culture must be expressed and recorded by language. Therefore, language can not entirely represent culture, but just a constitutional part of culture. Secondly language is the carrier of culture.So the visage of a culture could be embodied in language.In addition, the development of culture offers the premise for the development of culture.Last,language promotes the development of culture. Abundance and development of language is the premise of all-round development of culture.

In translation what the translator must face is those two different cultural systems that each language respectively belongs to, so they have to turn the face towards the cultures besides two different languages.

There are always countless ties of relationships existing in translation and culture. The reason why it is hard to achieve perfect transformation is because the differences of these two distinct languages in character, syntax, structure, grammar, rhetoric and vulgarism reflect the differences in manner of thinking, sense of propriety, custom and tradition, social background and manner of expression. As a matter of fact, translator not only needs to be proficient in handling English and Chinese, but also needs to know the diversities of people who speak English and Chinese respectively well in terms of cultural background, origin, custom habit, political system, faith and so on. One's translation is doomed to be failed unless one pays great attention both to the differences between source language and target language and the difference of distinct cultural system that the languages belong to.

As the development of economy tends to integrate and globalize, the need of cross-cultural communication is increasing at a fast speed. More and more people are learning foreign languages and reading books about other cultures to be able to conduct global communication well. Meanwhile, various books about multiple aspects of literature,history. education, business, and politics are translated to enhance peoples understanding and speed up the process of communication. However, as language, culture and translation are very closely tied to one another, translators meet many challenges arising from culture differences. Sometimes, they just can’t find the corresponding words in the target languages and they are missing or overlapping in the culture.To avoid culture shock,translation mistakes and misunderstandings, linguists and transition scholars have put forward various cultural translation strategies.

In recent years, as China stands out as a powerful economic country and is attracting more foreign investments, international business gains its importance and attention. Large volumes of English business books are translated into Chinese and many more books are published to teach people how to do business with people from English-speaking countries.In the past people thought that business translation is a simple task that involves only formal and literal translation, and that anyone who is bilingual and command enough knowledge can easily fulfill the task. However, quite to our surprise translators encounter substantial difficulties in achieving equivalence in business English translation. The problem lies in that many people fail to realize even though business translation may not be as heavily culture-loaded as literature translation, it is still culture-specific and requires translators to be aware of the many cultural factors to avoid false equivalence. 

Business English translation is a tough work. As language, culture and translation are very closely tied to one another, translators meet substantial challenges arising from cultural differences.To avoid culture shock, translation mistakes and misunderstandings, people should realize that business English requires translators to be aware of the many cultural factors to avoid false translations. This paper goes firstly to the study of the features of business English, and secondly to the analysis of some key cross- cultural elements and at last, by carefully studying some translations of business trademarks, item names and advertisements, the author elaborates how business English translation is influenced by China and the West cultural differences.Therefore,translators are supposed to raise the awareness of cultural differences,being familiar with cultures and tackling with the communication obstacles flexibly caused by different cultural backgrounds in the process of translation. 

This paper aims to help the readers to get a better understanding of business translation, cultivate culture awareness in business translation and conduct more research in this field.
